Scottish/Irish soprano Eve Pearson Maxwell is studying her master’s in performance at the Royal College of Music with Amanda Roocroft & Dinah Harris as a Leverhulme Arts Scholar.
Eve’s recent engagements include singing the role of Susan B. Anthony and Ensemble with the Philharmonia’s performance of Laura Karpman’s Balls conducted by Marin Alsop, Donna Anna for Clyde Opera’s Don Giovanni, Dido (cover) with the Royal Conservatoire’s concert performance of Dido & Aeneas, First Swan Maiden for Retrospect Opera’s recording of The Seal Woman with the Scottish Opera Orchestra and Chorus for the Alexander Gibson Opera Studio’s performance of Mozart’s Idomeneo.
Eve’s scenes range from Blonde Die Entfürung Aus Dem Serail, Angelica in Handel’s Orlando, Mrs Herring Albert Herring, Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff, Marzelline Fidelio, Gretel Hansel und Gretel, Lamké Lakmé and Adele Die Fledermaus.
In 2025, Eve has worked with The National Opera Studio Academy as well as the British Opera Academy through masterclasses, coaching’s and performances.
Eve has participated and placed in several competitions, her most recent, taking first prize at the is Ashburnham English Song Awards 2025. Other awards include top of her category at the International Mozart Competition, Vienna and 1st in the Governers Recital Prize at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is a Chris Treglown and Eastbourne International Singing Competition finalist as well as a James Toland Vocal Arts semi-finalist.
During her undergraduate studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Eve was a soloist for the RCS choir’s performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria and joined the chorus for performances of Mozart’s Requiem, Faure’s Requiem and Durufle’s Motets. Eve was also fortunate to be chosen for Karen Cargill’s Associate Artist programme where she performed Brahms Liebeslieder-Waltzer and other Lieder at Drumlanrig Castle and The Cumnock Tryst.
Eve has also recorded vocals for Rabid Film’s Fire and Lace, funded by Clanranald Trust.
